Hey, I’m sleeping.

It’s 75 degrees outside. I found hydrangeas and gerbera daisies for $7.99 while I was grocery shopping at Kroger. After close inspecition, I’m delighted to report that the cosmos, violas, and rununculas I planted around my front trees/shrubs are thriving. Clyde told me he thinks he’ll finish laying the rock tomorrow. And just when I thought my day couldn’t get any better, my April issue of MSL arrived.
Grant has entered a night-owl phase that rivals mine. And to top it off, he’s decided that he’d rather sleep on the floor next to my bed rather than his own bed.
This morning (half an hour ago, actually) I went into my room to see if he was still breathing. He was sound asleep with his hands tucked behind his head. Adorable. I got the camera and was about to snap a picture when his eyes opened. Without missing a beat he said, “Hey! I’m sleeping!”
